Commercial paper outstanding rose in June.

NEW YORK -- Commercial paper outstanding in the United States rose by a seasonally adjusted $2.477 billion in June, to $562.046 billion.

The May figure was revised upward to $559.569, which was about $6 billion higher than in April, according to the monthly report from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Financial company commercial paper increased $1.025 billion in June to $412.46 billion. Nonfinancial company paper rose $1.452 billion to $149.586 billion. The financial category has risen two months in a row, the non-financial

category three months.
