Arkansas Systems tool gives clients PC access.

Banks can offer their commercial customers the ability to access their banking accounts via personal computer with a new cash management system from Arkansas Systems Inc., Little Rock.

The system allows commercial customers with PCs to determine the exact status of accounts on a daily basis and to perform other transactions and inquiries.

Financial institutions can change greetings and other messages designed to market services or products, such as rates on certificates of deposit, loan rates, or promotional messages. The service is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and security is maintained through the host station.

The system integrates with the vendor's Transaction Management payment system. The software operates on the International Business Machines Corp. AS/400 mainframe and PC-based platforms.
