Mutual Services Inc., of Braintree, Mass., a supplier of data processing services for financial institutions, will handle the processing at two Massachusetts banks: North Middlesex Savings Bank in Ayer and Abington Savings Bank.
The company will handle account and check processing for $98 million-asset North Middlesex, and account and item processing for $315 million-asset Abington Savings.
The top five banks and thrifts had combined assets of more than $13 trillion as of December 31, 2023.
