Hancock Holding In Mississippi Names Bailey Its Finance Chief

C. Stanley Bailey, a former AmSouth executive, has joined Hancock Holding Co. as chief financial officer and executive president and CFO of its principal subsidiary, Hancock Bank in Gulfport, Miss.

Mr. Bailey will manage all asset and liability functions as well as coordinate pricing of all lending and deposit services for the company's three banks and its mortgage, insurance, trust, investment, credit card, and finance operations in southern Mississippi and Louisiana.

He had been vice chairman of the board for AmSouth Bancorp. and AmSouth Bank of Alabama, as well as chairman of the board of AmSouth Mortgage Co., Birmingham. He managed AmSouth's mortgage banking, trust, and private finance, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, asset liability management, operations and technology, accounting, and loan review.

Hancock Holding is also the parent of Hancock Bank of Louisiana and First National Bank of Denham Springs, La.
