Short Takes: Keyport Hires Head of Sales Through Brokerages

Mark R. Tully has been appointed vice president and national director of traditional sales at Keyport Life Insurance Co.

In his new role, Mr. Tully, 39, is responsible for directing Keyport's sales through brokerages and financial planners.

He came to Keyport from PaineWebber Inc., where he was corporate vice president and national sales manager for estate planning and life insurance.

With approximately $12 billion of assets, Keyport is a leading provider of fixed and variable annuities distributed through banks and brokerage firms.
