In Brief: Citi Shelf Registration For $5.5B Filed at SEC

The money-center bank's most recent prior shelf filing was two years ago, for $3 billion. At that time, however, the company had $3 billion of outstanding shelf capacity, indicating that the $5.5 billion is in line with its usual needs.
