Advanta Unit Prices $700M of Securities

Colonial National Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanta Corp., has priced a $700 million credit card securitization.

Closing is scheduled for today.

The securitization, Series 1995-A, consists of three grades of floating- rate certificates provided through Advanta Credit Card Master Trust II. The Class A and Class B certificates will be sold in the public market, with CS First Boston as lead manager and Salomon Brothers Inc. co-manager. Class C certificates will be purchased through a private placement.

This is Colonial National's 23rd credit card securitization since 1988. More than $5.8 billion of credit-card-backed certificates have been sold during that period.
