Short Takes: Security Benefit Expands Annuity Portfolios

The Security Benefit Group of Cos. has introduced new mutual funds, and new investment portfolios for variable annuities and variable universal life insurance policies.

The Topeka, Kan.-based company said it will offer the products through banks and other financial institutions. It is offering two new mutual funds, Security Asset Allocation Fund and Security Global Aggressive Bond Fund.

The investment portfolios for the variable products include the two mutual funds and Managed Asset Allocation and Equity Income.
