In Brief: S. Florida Home Sales Off 14% Early in '95

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Home sales in South Florida declined in the beginning of this year from the same period the year before, according to a recent data analysis.

TRW Redi Property Data, a real estate information company based here, reported home sales dropped more than 14% in the first five months of 1995 in the three-county area of South Florida.

The figures are based on recorded deeds and show a greater decline in new home sales, with a 17% drop.

The decline was sharpest in Broward County, with a 17% drop in all home sales and a 21% drop for new home sales.
