Card briefs: MAC Network Gains Five New Members

WILMINGTON, Del. - Five financial institutions have signed agreements to participate in the MAC electronic funds transfer network, adding 1,350 automated teller machines, 745,000 cardholders, and 1,325 point of sale locations to the network.

The MAC network is operated by Money Access Service Inc., a subsidiary of Electronic Payment Services Inc.

The new MAC members are FNB of Maryland, Baltimore; Famers and Mechanics National Bank, Frederick, Md.; Provident Bank of Maryland, Baltimore; the Maryland division of First Fidelity Bank; and the Winn-Dixie Employees Federal Credit Union, Jacksonville, Fla.
