ST. LOUIS - Boatmen's Bancshares has begun offering a Windows-based version of its financial reporting and transaction software for cash management customers.
The software provides customers with a single point of access to automated clearing house transactions, wire transfers, stop payments on checks, and internal funds transfers.
It is a proprietary program developed by Boatmen's treasury management department. The Windows-based software gives users several new features, including the ability to save documents to a computer server and work off- line.
"We're very excited about being one of the first banks in the country to introduce a comprehensive Windows-based software product to its treasury management customers," said Linda S. Vandas, assistant vice president of corporate product management at Boatmen's.
Boatmen's has assets of about $32 billion. It operates offices in nine states and is Missouri's largest banking company.
