in Brief: Robt. Morris Associates Elects West One Exec

PHILADELPHIA - Thomas F. Ripke Jr., an executive vice president and chief credit administrator at West One Bank, Boise Idaho, was elected chairman of the board of Robert Morris Associates.

Mr. Ripke, who joined West One in 1973, is responsible for credit policy, loan administration, compliance, and special asset areas of the bank.

Robert Morris, a trade association for lending and credit risk professionals, also elected Dorothy M. Horvath, who is executive vice president at National City Bank, Columbus, Ohio, as first vice chairwoman.

Paul M. Dorfman, executive vice president of Bank of America, San Francisco, was elected second vice chairman.

All terms are for one year, beginning Sept. 1.

In addition, the association elected Rufus B. Kin of First American National Bank, William C. Langley of Chemical Banking Corp., Jeffrey W. Leeds of Lawrence Savings Bank, and William L. Perotti of Frost National Bank to three-year terms on the board of directors.
