WAYNE, Pa. - The Institute for Bank Services is giving bankers tips on how to properly sell securities and annuities.
The trade group released a new publication last week aimed at helping bankers sort out the regulatory guidelines for annuity and investment sales.
The institute provides education, compliance training, and research services to banks and brokerages in the insurance business.
The guidebook, titled "The IBIS Bank Compliance Checklist for Nondeposit Investment Product Sales Programs," gives bankers a systematic method for evaluating compliance programs.
