Card Briefs: Keycorp in Debit Deal With BP Express Stores

Keycorp's Society National Bank announced that it will install point of sale debit card terminals in 18 BP Express stores in the greater Cleveland area.

BP Express stores, run by British Petroleum, offer consumers filling up on gasoline a variety of convenience-store items, such as milk, baked goods, produce, and coffee.

Because of the new debit card terminals, consumers can now use their MAC or Money Station automated teller machine cards to pay for goods at BP Express stores.

MAC and Money Station are regional ATM networks.

Keycorp's merchant services division will process the debit card transactions.
