Round Up: Pa.'s Fulton Completes Delaware Bank Deal

LANDCASTER, Pa - Fulton Financial corp. said it has completed the acquisition of Delaware National Bankshares, the parent of Delaware National Bank, Georgetown.

Delaware National shareholders received stock valued at approximately $17 million.

Delaware National, with $100 million of assets and six offices, is the eighth independent banking subsidiary - and first in Delaware - of the $3.2 billion-asset Fulton Financial.

Fulton has 98 other offices through six Pennsylvania affiliates: Fulton Bank, Lancaster; Farmers Trust Bank, Lebanon; Swineford National Bank, Middleburg; Lafayette Bank, Easton; FNB Bank, Danville; Great Valley Savings Bank, Reading - and Hagerstown Trust Co. in Maryland.
