Dime Names Senior Executives To New Post Of Exec VP

Dime Savings Bank of New York has given several senior executives the new position of executive vice president, the highest level at the bank under the chairman and president. The executive vice presidents are:

*Arthur Bennett, chief human resources officer;

*Jenne Britell general manager, mortgage banking;

*Gene Brooks, general counsel;

*John Brull, chief accounting officer;

*D. James Daras, treasurer and asset/liability executive;

*Murray Mascis, general manager, commercial real estate lending;

*Carlos Munoz, chief credit officer;

*Edward Ruggiero, corporate finance and strategy executive;

*Cody Sickle, general manager, consumer banking services;

*Jack Wagner, chief information technology officer.

The newly appointed executive vice presidents report directly to either James M. Large Jr., chairman and chief executive officer or Lawrence J. Toal, president, and all are responsible for major areas of the bank's business. All of these executives had been senior managers with Anchor Savings Bank with the exception of Mr. Munoz, who joined Dime since the merger. Dime completed a merger of equals with Anchor Bancorp in January.
