Short Takes: Bancorp Hawaii Launches Asset Allocation Fund

Bancorp Hawaii has introduced LifeSpan, an asset allocation mutual fund investment product.

The new wrap account is managed by Hawaiian Trust Co., a Bancorp Hawaii subsidiary, and is being sold through the bank's brokerage arm.

With LifeSpan, a customer's investment dollars are divided between different asset categories, such as real estate, aggressive stocks, and treasury bonds. The weightings are determined by the customer's needs.

LifeSpan accounts are invested largely in Bancorp Hawaii's proprietary Pacific Capital Mutual Funds.
