Roundup: Summit to Sell a Recently Acquired Branch

CHATHAM, N.J. - Summit Bancorp said it has agreed to sell one of its branches to Hackettstown-based Skylands Community Bank for an undisclosed sum.

The $5.5 billion-asset Summit said the branch is in Netcong and has $26 million of deposits.

The branch had been operated by Crestmont Savings and Loan until Summit acquired that thrift in September.
