2 Processing Clients For National Data

National Data Corp., Atlanta, announced new clients for two processing services.

Sylvan Learning Systems Inc., an educational services provider, will use National Data as a credit and debit card processor for its 27 corporate locations.

National Data will have the opportunity to sell its services to the 527 U.S. and Canadian franchisees of the Columbus, Md.-based company.

On the health care front, the Santa Barbara (Calif.) Health Authority will use National Data's pharmacy claim adjudication and transaction network services to process its Medicaid prescription claims.

Santa Barbara, the first California county to administer its own Medicaid program, expects to handle more than 26,000 pharmacy claims monthly for its 45,000 members.

National Data, one of the largest processors of real-time health care transactions, serves about 65,000 providers, including more than 80% of the nation's pharmacies.
