Card Briefs: Banking Law Tome Out in New Edition

NEW YORK - Warren Gorham & Lamont announced the publication of a revised edition of its legal reference book, "The Law of Bank Deposits, Collections, and Credit Cards."

The book has been expanded by 20% to cover legislative, regulatory, and judicial developments, said Barkley Clark, the banking and payment-law expert who is co-author with Barbara Clark.

The volume covers a range of topics from basic check law under the Uniform Commercial Code and its revisions, to check truncation, electronic funds transfers, credit cards, and payment fraud.

In loose-leaf format and updated with supplements three times a year, the 1,950-page document costs $145.
