Corrections: 10/24/95 issue, Fleet Pushes Past

Because of an editing error, an article Tuesday, "Fleet Pushes Past $100 Billion Through Acquisitions," on page 30, misidentified Andrew D. Woodward Jr. as chairman of Fleet Mortgage Group. He resigned that job in June 1994 to become president of NationsBanc Mortgage Corp., and his photograph should not have run with the article.

In addition, the article quoted a spokeswoman for the group as attributing to Mr. Woodward a strong feeling that it should build its servicing portfolio. The spokeswoman in fact attributed that feeling to current executives.
