Card briefs: MasterCard to Cobrand With Ticketmaster

sponsorship agreement with Ticketmaster, the top U.S. ticketing agency, with $1.6 billion in sales. The two companies, which plan to develop a cobranded card, will join in marketing, promotion, advertising, merchandising, travel services, and publishing. Consumers calling Ticketmaster will be prompted by phone operators to use MasterCard to pay for their purchases.
