Boston Corp. to design fixed-income products and lure new clients. Glenn T. Migliozzi joined Fleet Investment Advisors, Boston, on Monday as managing director of fixed-income investing. A Fleet spokesman said Mr. Migliozzi's position was created "because of the expansion of Fleet Investment Advisers as it integrates with Shawmut Investment Advisers." Fleet is expected to complete its merger with Shawmut National Corp. in the first quarter. Until earlier this month, Mr. Migliozzi was a managing director in the fixed-income group of State Street Global Advisors. He joined State Street as a vice president in 1992. Before that, he spent six years at Aetna Life and Casualty, where at one time he directed corporate finance in its treasurer's department. Mr. Migliozzi is the second money management executive to jump from State Street in a week. Francis D. "Frank" Antin, senior vice president at State Street Bank and Trust Co., left last Friday to become chief operating officer at Boston Co. Asset Management Inc. The bank has not named replacements in either position.
