Capital Briefs: RTC Sets Auction of N.J. Thrift's Furnishings

will auction the furniture, fixtures, and equipment of a failed New Jersey thrift on Dec. 13 and 14 at 10 Waterview Boulevard, Parsippany, N.J. The items from Carteret Federal Savings Bank, which was shut down in 1992 and was, in March of this year, the last thrift to have its branches sold off by the RTC, will be divided into 3,500 lots and will be available for on-site inspection Dec. 12.
