First Fidelity Bancorp. Names Executives

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

First Fidelity Bancorp., Newark, N.J., elected Donald C. Parcells, senior executive vice president and head of consumer banking, to its board of directors.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York has named Michele S. Godfrey and Betsy Buttrill White senior vice presidents.

Ms. Godfrey will be officer in charge of central bank services, while Ms. White will continue to head market surveillance and act as the planning, administration, and coordination officer for the bank's markets group.

The systemwide wholesale product office has been assigned to the New York Fed, under the leadership of the regional bank's first vice president, James H. Oltman. The New York Fed has designated Carol W. Barrett, a senior vice president, as wholesale product manager for all large-dollar transfer businesses.

Dara Hunt, formerly of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, has been named a vice president and assigned to the wholesale product office.

The New York Fed also promoted seven of its officers to vice president. They are:

Robert J. Ambrose, who continues as the bank's assistant general auditor; Daniel G. Bolwell, assigned to the wholesale product office; Dino Kos, who will continue to be responsible for the foreign exchange trading desk; Sandra C. Krieger, head of the domestic trading desk; Monika K. Novik, assigned to the systems development area with responsibility for bank supervision and administrative systems, cash and check systems, data base administration departments, and the advanced technology staff; Janet K. Rogers, who will continue in the loans and credits area; and Robert C. Scrivani, who will continue in the human resources area.
