President for Huntingon Insurance Subsidiary

Huntington Bancshares, Columbus, Ohio, has named a new president of it insurance unit.

William K. Browning joined Huntington National Life Insurance Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of the $18 billion-asset regional banking company.

He replaces interim president Peter Grier, who stepped in last spring when former president James Cash left Huntington, a spokesman for the bank said.

Mr. Brown was formerly with Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, where he was vice president and sales manager responsible for personal trust and investment management services.
