Deutsche Bank Names Executive

Deutsche Bank North America, New York, has appointed Henry S. Ziegler as a managing director of the private banking division. He will also become chairman of the bank's proposed trust operations.

Mr. Ziegler had been with the New York law firm of Shearman & Sterling, where he was a senior partner in charge of individual clients.

Deutsche Bank Securities Corp., a subsidiary, has appointed Warren H. Spar as managing director and head of its debt capital markets group and Thomas C. Mullens as a managing director overseeing corporate bond trading, sales, and research.

Mr. Spar joined the company after 11 years with Lehman Brothers. He had been senior investment banker responsible for marketing corporate finance products to U.S. and international corporations and financial institutions.

Mr. Mullens spent 14 years with Kidder Peabody, where he was a managing director responsible for corporate bond trading and a member of the firm's operating committee.

Deutsche Bank is a subsidiary of Frankfurt-based Deutsche Bank AG.
