Green Point Names Executives

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

Green Point Savings Bank, Flushing, N.Y., has named Patrick O. Egan vice president, director of corporate tax.

His primary responsibilities include managing all aspects of corporate tax research, planning, and compliance.

Mr. Egan was assistant director of corporate tax at Dime Savings Bank for five years and senior consultant at Price Waterhouse for six.

MLF Bancorp, Lafayette Hill, Pa., has elected Brian M. Hartline as secretary and treasurer of the holding company and its subsidiary, Main Line Federal Savings Bank.

Mr. Hartline is responsible for the keeping of all corporate records. He is also responsible for the cash management operations of the bank.

Karen L. Ranson has been elected assistant secretary of MLF Bancorp.

First Executive Bank, Philadelphia, has appointed David J. Torpey as vice president, chief financial officer, and controller.

Peter A. Bucci was named vice president, commercial lending division. Paul A. Verdi Jr. was named assistant vice president and branch manager.

TF Financial Corp., Newton, Pa., the holding company for Third Federal Savings Bank, has named its president, John R. Stranford, as chief executive.

Mr. Stranford, who had been chief operating officer, succeeds Carl F. Gregory.

Mr. Gregory, who relinquished the CEO post at the end of the year, will continue as chairman of the board and as a consultant.
