Mellon Names Jamie Stewart as A Vice Chairman On Corporate Side

Jamie B. Stewart Jr. has been named a vice chairman of Mellon Bank Corp., Pittsburgh. He is responsible for domestic corporate banking, leasing, and middle market banking.

He joins the office of the chairman, which sets corporate strategies and policies. He also is responsible for overseeing the day-to day operations of the corporation.

Mr. Stewart joined the bank in 1988 as executive vice president and head of corporate finance. Most recently he was responsible for large corporate banking, multinational corporate banking, and leasing.
