In Brief: Chase Supplies Forex Information by Fax

NEW YORK - Chase Manhattan Corp. has started a "fax on demand" service to speed customized information to its foreign exchange customers. Borden

"Daily foreign exchange information is a priority for our customers, but they don't want to be inundated with information that is not targeted to their specific business needs," said James Borden, senior vice president and head of Chase's North America Foreign Exchange area.

Available through the new service are daily commentary on the economy, technical analysis in annotated chart form, and selected country reports and special currency charts.

The service allows customers to dial in and request information, directing it to any facsimile terminal, Mr. Borden said.
