In Brief: Touch-Tone Access to OCC Documents

Bankers can now use a touch-tone phone to request faxes of documents published by the Comptroller of the Currency's Office.

Publications available include news releases, speeches, enforcement action reports, and rule interpretations.

Users can call 202-479-0141 and follow a series of voice prompts to request that documents be sent to their fax machines. The number works 24 hours a day.

"This service is intended to give bankers and the general public access to information from the OCC at their convenience," said Konrad Alt, the agency's chief of staff.
