Short Takes: Coverdell Fills 2 Marketing Posts, Signs Roosevelt Bank of

Coverdell & Co., an Atlanta-based insurance and investment marketing firm that has worked with more than 100 banks, has filled two key marketing positions.

Charles H. Greenewald was promoted to assistant vice president.

In that role, he will oversee program development, implementation, and management for all of Coverdell's client banks.

In addition to his new title, Mr. Greenwald, who joined Coverdell in 1989, retains his designation as the firm's senior marketing officer.

In that position, he will continue to directly manage insurance programs at several banks, including Boatmen's National Bank, Crestar Bank, and Twin Cities Federal Savings Bank.

Steven C. Kolker was named regional sales director, overseeing the company's marketing push in 22 states throughout the Northeast and Middle Atlantic.

Mr. Kolker joins the company from Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., where he was an Atlanta-based account representative.

Separately, the firm announced that it has added Roosevelt Bank, St. Louis, to its client roster. A spokesman for Coverdell said the company initially plans to create an insurance marketing program for the bank's retail clients. - Debra Cope and Karen Talley
