Roundup: B of A Hires Merrill Exec for London Trading Post

LONDON - Bank of America said it has hired Maurizio Bragaglia from Merrill Lynch as a vice president of its proprietary trading desk in London.

Mr. Bragaglia will be responsible for proprietary risk taking in foreign exchange and interest rates. Bank of America said he will "play a key role in the trading of leading currencies on the bank's behalf."

At Merrill Lynch, Mr. Bragaglia was head of emerging markets foreign exchange in London.
