Card Briefs: MasterCard Scores a Goal With World Cup Promotion

CHICAGO - MasterCard International's World Cup USA 1994 promotion has earned a Reggie award, presented annually to the year's 10 most successful promotions.

MasterCard, which announced in February that it has renewed its sponsorship of the 1998 soccer championships, continues to use Brazilian soccer legend Pele as its World Cup spokesman.
