Credit Lyonnais Promotes Three To Senior VP In Its U.S. Unit

Philippe Guimard, John J. Quinn, and Steve R. Vinson have been appointed senior vice presidents of Credit Lyonnais USA, a unit of the Paris-based Credit Lyonnais.

Robert A. Cohen is chief executive officer of the Credit Lyonnais Group in the United States.

Mr. Guimard will be responsible for mergers and acquisitions with an emphasis on cross-border transactions between the United States and Europe. He joined Credit Lyonnais from the U.S. investment banking unit of Credit Agricole, where he had been managing director and treasurer since 1988.

Mr. Quinn is manager of resources. He joined Credit Lyonnais in 1978.

Mr. Vinson will be responsible for market risk management for the bank's commercial and securities businesses in the United States.

He joined Credit Lyonnais from Chase Manhattan Bank, where he was vice president and division executive for structured investment products.
