Chase Manhattan Names Two More Vice Chairmen

NEW YORK - Chase Manhattan Corp. on Tuesday named Donald L. Boudreau and E. Michel Kruse as vice chairmen.

The two have been assigned to areas that were the responsibility of Arthur F. Ryan, the Chase president and chief operating officer who resigned last year.

Mr. Boudreau, 54, is now responsible for Chase retail business in the United States. Mr. Kruse, 51, will head up Chase's worldwide wholesale and private banking operations.

The two will form a triumvirate with vice chairman Richard J. Boyle, senior loan and investment officer, in the office of chairman Thomas Labreque.

The German-born Mr. Kruse was Chase's deputy executive for North American corporate finance.

Mr. Boudreau was senior executive vice president in charge of Chase's integrated regional banking activities in the New York-New Jersey- Connecticut area. He has also been an international banking sector executive.
