Card Briefs: MasterCard-Cirrus Directory on PCDisk

WESTCHESTER, Ill. - MasterCard and Cirrus members and cardholders have a new way to obtain automated teller machine locations: through a personal computer.

A directory of MasterCard-Cirrus ATMs now available to members on computer disk lets customer service representatives sort by fields that specifically address cardholders' needs.

Called Cirrus Directions, the locator will identify network ATMs by geographical location, including area code. It can also identify airport locations, 24-hour access ATMs, financial institution name, or other fields.

The disk will be available to all member financial institutions during the third quarter, in both Windows and Mac format. Card members can get the disks from their banks or from MasterCard's World Wide Web home page on the Internet.

The directory will be updated and distributed regularly.
