SunTrust Banks Names Executives

SunTrust Banks of Florida has announced senior management changes effective July 1 at three of its largest Florida banks.

At SunTrust Bank South Florida, Miami, Robert H. Coords will take over as chairman and chief executive. He'll succeed Robert B. Malone, who is taking early retirement for health reasons.

At SunTrust Bank Miami, John P. Hashagen will succeed Mr. Coords as chairman and chief executive. Ramiro Ortiz, the bank's executive vice president of community banking, will succeed Mr. Coords as president.

At SunTrust Bank Gulf Coast, Sarasota, William B. Klich, executive vice president of corporate and commercial banking, will replace Mr. Hashagen as chairman and CEO. Ray Sandhagen, executive vice president and chief credit officer, will move up to president, also replacing Mr. Hashagen.
