Maryland Bankers Names Executive

The Maryland Bankers Association, Annapolis, has elected John M. Suit 3d as president for a one-year term.

Mr. Suit, chairman and chief executive at Farmers Bank of Maryland, replaces Bradley G. Moore, president and chief executive at Sparks State Bank.

Before joining Farmers Bank in 1989, Mr. Suit had been an executive vice president and director at Annapolis Banking and Trust Co.

The trade group also chose Peter M. Martin, the president and chief operating officer at Provident Bank of Maryland, as president-elect; and F. Levi Ruark, the chairman and chief executive at National Bank of Cambridge, as vice president.

John B. Bowers 2d, executive vice president at the group, was elected treasurer. T. Wayne Kirwan, its vice president, was chosen as corporate secretary.
