Bank of Boston Names Executive

NEW ENGLAND

Bank of Boston Private Bank named Edward C. Williams 3d vice president- private banker.

Mr. Williams is responsible for developing new business. He will work with experts in investment counseling, trust and estate planning, lending, tax services, and retirement planning.

Before joining Bank of Boston, Mr. Williams was in the private client service division at Morgan Stanley & Co., New York. He was responsible for marketing to corporations, hedge funds, and individual investors.

Before Morgan Stanley, Mr. Williams was vice president of securities at First Winthrop Corp., Boston.
