Middlesex Savings Names Executive

Middlesex Savings Bank, Natick, Mass., has promoted A. James Lavoie to chief executive.

He succeeds Robert C. Potter, who retired as chief executive June 14. Mr. Potter also retired as chairman.

Mr. Lavoie remains president of the bank; he had also been chief operating officer.

He joined Middlesex in 1975. He began his banking career in 1968 at Warren Five Cents Savings Bank, Peabody, Mass.
