Deutsche Bank North Names Executive

Deutsche Bank North America, New York, has hired Robert Allardice as an executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Mr. Allardice, who had retired from Morgan Stanley as chief operating officer of its global equity division and head of U.S. equities, had been a consultant for Deutsche Bank for the last three years.

Deutsche Bank North America is the holding company that coordinates the North American activities of Deutsche Bank and Deutsche Morgan Grenfell.

Key Bank Northeast Region, Albany, N.Y., a subsidiary of KeyCorp, Cleveland, has promoted Herbert E. Knoll Jr. to director of in-store banking.

Mr. Knoll, who remains a senior vice president, is responsible for the design and implementation of the in-store banking centers in New York, Vermont, and Maine.

He joined the former Key Bank of Western New York in 1987 as a district branch administrator for metropolitan Buffalo and Niagara Falls. He later became the bank's marketing director, and in 1991 he was named director of public and media relations for Key Bank of New York.
