Don M. Lashbrook Quits In Management Shake-Up At Barnett Mortgage Unit

Don M. Lashbrook, executive vice president at Barnett Mortgage Corp., is leaving the company.

A company spokesman said Mr. Lashbrook resigned about two weeks ago during a shift in management responsibilities. He will remain through the end of this month. A replacement has not yet been named, the spokesman said.

"The driving reason (for the resignation) is my desire to be more involved in production, in addition to other aspects of the business," Mr. Lashbrook said. He added that he is currently in negotiations with two companies and has not made a decision where he will go next. Both jobs are in the mortgage field, he said.

Mr. Lashbrook, known as Dusty, joined Barnett in February 1994 as director of secondary marketing. Before that, he was senior vice president at Maryland National Mortgage Corp., where he also headed secondary marketing.
