D.S. Buser of Consumer Bankers Dead at 61

Daniel S. Buser Jr., vice president of membership at the Consumer Bankers Association, died Monday morning. He was 61.

Mr. Buser had suffered a stroke last Wednesday.

He joined the association in 1988 after two years as head of the Washington office of Doremus, a New York-based public relations firm. From 1978 to 1986, Mr. Buser was director of public relations for the American Bankers Association.

Mr. Buser is survived by his wife, Elaine, and by four daughters: Judy, Susan, Kimberly, and Chrissy.

Funeral arrangements had not been completed Monday.
