Mid-Peninsula Names Executives

Mid-Peninsula Bank, Palo Alto, Calif., has promoted Susan K. Black to executive vice president.

Ms. Black, who has been with the bank since its formation in 1987, was a senior vice president. She will continue to oversee marketing, business development and relationship management.

Meanwhile, three more bank officers were hired from the region.

Robert C. Sherrard was hired as vice president of real estate lending. He was a commercial real estate lending officer at Comerica Bank California.

Alex F. Dershimer 2d was hired as vice president and relationship manager. Mr. Dershimer was a vice president and manager at First Interstate Bank before it merged with Wells Fargo & Co.

Ron Pecoraro was hired as a vice president and relationship manager for Mid-Peninsula Bank's San Mateo Office. He had been a vice president and business banking officer at Glendale Federal Bank.
