In Brief: Countrywide Adds Offices in Ore., Colo.

Countrywide Home Loans Inc. has opened new offices in Salem, Ore., and Aurora, Colo.

Tom Halley, executive vice president in charge of the Western region, said Countrywide seeks to expand its market share in metropolitan areas. It will have 20 new branches by September and 50 by the end of its fiscal year in January, he said.

Separately, the company announced it had named six new managing directors. They are Richard DeLeo, loan administration; Jerry Gross, chief technology officer; Richard Lewis, chief administrative officer; Greg Lumsden, loan origination; Eric Sieracki, corporate finance and communications; and Jeff Speakes, strategic planning and risk management.
