New York Law Firm Updates Handbook For Investment Act

Gordon, Altman, Butowsky, Weitzen, Shalov & Wein, a New York law firm, has updated its reference guide to the Investment Company Act, the national legislation governing the formation and operation of securities firms.

The 644-page loose-leaf handbook describes new regulations of mutual funds with multiple classes of shares and the distribution of funds through banks.

Other topics include derivatives, advertising and sales literature, and new regulations governing master-feeder funds. New information on registrations and proxy solicitations has also been added.
