Ex-CIA Chief Returns to Post On the Board Of Citicorp

Citicorp, New York, said John M. Deutch, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency, has rejoined the bank's board of directors.

Mr. Deutch was a Citicorp director from 1987 to 1993. He became director of the CIA in May 1995 and resigned last week.

He was under secretary of defense in acquisitions and technology from 1993 to 1994 and deputy secretary of defense from 1994 to 1995.

Mr. Deutch has been an institute professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 1990. He was named professor of chemistry in 1973, dean of science in 1982, and provost in 1985.
