Short Takes: Mass. Financial Eyes Money-Center Sales

Massachusetts Financial Services has moved one of its veteran salesmen from the brokerage division to the unit that serves banks.

The mutual fund company has assigned David Milbury, a 23-year veteran with its broker-dealer marketing division, as a senior vice president and national accounts manager focusing on money-center banks.

He held a similar position on the brokerage side. Mr. Milbury now reports to Lisa M. Jones, senior vice president in charge of sales and marketing to banks.

Ms. Jones said she requested the move to help brokers at the largest banks learn the sales techniques of veteran stockbrokers. The Boston-based company manages $28.7 billion in assets.
