In Brief: Trade Group Marketing Compliance Software

A major compliance software producer is getting a marketing boost from a subsidiary of the Credit Union National Association.

CUNA Mutual Group will hawk five products for Portland, Ore.-based CFI ProServices, including ProActive, CFI's fair-lending, geocoding, and mapping product. Other CFI software handles loan documentation, new account openings, home banking, and member services.

"We expect this agreement to benefit the nation's 12,000 credit unions," said CFI chairman and chief executive Matthew Chapman. "They are actively embracing PC-based technology to simplify their business processes and expand membership relationships."

Terms of the agreement were not released.
